At Open Arms Empowerment Foundation Incorporated, we understand that the needs of individuals and families are often connected. A child may need a safe place to learn and grow. A father may need employment, housing, or mentorship. A mother may need transitional housing and support while rebuilding her life.
We believe in addressing those needs together.
Our vision is to build a network of programs and community partnerships that provides men, women, and children with access to the tools, resources, relationships, and opportunities they need to move forward.
We are committed to creating a community where people are not defined by their past, their circumstances, or their mistakes—but are given the opportunity to build a better future.

Women
Services and resources may include:

Our long-term goal is to establish a dedicated facility that can provide transitional housing while also serving as a central resource center for women and families in need.
Youth

Our goal is to create positive spaces in underserved communities, particularly neighborhoods where resources may be limited. By providing young people with safe places to go, positive activities to participate in, and trusted adults to guide them, we hope to help prevent youth from becoming involved in crime, violence, or other negative circumstances.
We want every young person to know that their circumstances do not define their future. They deserve opportunities, encouragement, positive role models, and people who believe in them.
Men

• Reentry support for individuals returning home from incarceration

We also recognize the importance of supporting fathers who have custody of their children but may not have the guidance, resources, or support system necessary to successfully navigate parenting while rebuilding their own lives.
Our goal is to help men become stronger individuals, fathers, providers, mentors, and positive influences within their families and communities.

About The Foundation
The Open Arms Empowerment Foundation Incorporated is a safe, supportive community dedicated to empowering individuals through life’s most difficult transitions. We provide holistic services designed to restore hope, stability, and confidence for women men and our children.
Our services include housing assistance and referrals, access to essential community resources, emergency and transitional support, and basic needs assistance such as clothing and personal care items. We offer a variety of support groups, including grieving groups, emotional and mental health support, ENA and recovery-focused groups, and peer-led empowerment circles that encourage healing, growth, and accountability.
We also provide individual and group counseling services, life coaching, mentorship, and guidance to help souls rebuild their lives, set healthy goals, and move forward with purpose. Our reunification and family restoration support focuses on helping mothers and or fathers navigate the steps needed to reunite with their children, including parenting support, advocacy, referrals, and guidance through court, social services, and reunification processes.

Led by Brittany Rawls, the organization aims to inspire the community to heal, rebuild, and reclaim their voices, while fostering a safe environment for personal growth and community support.
