About The Founder

My name is Brittany Rawls, and my journey is living proof that change is possible.

 

I am a mother of 10, a survivor, and a woman who refused to let her past define her future. After losing custody of my first 4 older children at a young age, I prayed for a second chance and God answered. Through faith, determination, and community support, I rebuilt my life from the ground up.

 

With the help of programs like the Azalea Project, I became stable, employed, drug-free, and licensed but most importantly, I became whole. My transformation was recognized on News4Jax and continues to inspire women facing similar battles.

 

Today, I am the owner of Shades of Blush LLC, a licensed esthetician, and a community advocate dedicated to empowering women to rise again. Through Open Arms Empowerment Inc., I’ve built a growing sisterhood where women heal, rebuild, and reclaim their voices.

 

I am proof that the old me had to die for the greater me to live. My mission now is to fight for other mothers and young adults who deserve the same second chance and to bring awareness to the need for change in Termination of Parental Rights laws.
